OUTCOME: Acquital after Jury Trial
Client charged with DUI. There was a video showing client's driving and peformance on field sobriety tests.
OUTCOME: DUI charges dropped to reckless driving
Client was single mother that was charged with drinking and driving after registering a .15 on breath alcohol test. Client faced a minimum jail time of 48 hours and upto 11 months and 29 days, 24 hou ... rs community service, alcohol safety course, upto $1500 fine, loss of driving privileges which would have been prevented client from driving child to school, etc. I was able to identify a defense based on the police officers stop of my client's vehilce that allowed me to negotiate an agreement wherein the DUI charge was amended to a reckless driving charge thereby saving my client jail time and a license suspension.
