OUTCOME: Gun suppressed and the Indictment was dismissed

This was a federal prosecution for being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm. The firearm was found in the defendant's front right pocket after a pat down for officer safety. We were able to ... show the court that the "pat down" was unconstitutional and the court supressed the firearm. The Court dismissed the Indictment (i.e., the case) on July 28, 2010.

OUTCOME: Defense Verdict

I served as lead counsel for the defense in this five day federal jury trial. My clients were third party defendants in this multi-million dollar lawsuit. At the conclusion of the trial, the jury did ... not award any damages against my clients. The jury did award, however, over $1,000,000 against the counter-defendant who I did not represent - Craftco Hardwood Floors.
