OUTCOME: My client won sole custody at trial and on appeal

This was a child custody/divorce that was appealed by Respondent because he was not granted sole custody of the child. The appellate court affirmed the trial court's decision to grant Petitioner, my c ... lient, sole custody of the child. My client also won $26,000 of the Respondent's 401(k) because he put away $52,000 into his 401(k) (trying to keep money away from her) during their 26 month marriage.

OUTCOME: Plaintiff awarded over $200,000 in damages

Medical malpractice for laparoscopic gall bladder surgery - two doctors missed a bile leak telling Kevin first he had an esophogeal spasm, and then that he had pericarditis, without the required side e ... ffects such as a pericardial rub. Kevin developed a biloma which ruptured while he was in Kansas City, and spent almost 48 hours with his intestines soaked in bile. The jury awarded him and his wife over $200,000 in damages due to the physicans not providing the necessary standard of care for laparoscopic gallbladder surgery. I was honored to be second chair in this case. First chair in this case was Morris Lane Harvey. The matter was appealed by Dr Jha.
