We now believe we made a terrible mistake hiring Jeff as our advocate. We did everything he asked, consistently responding to the many actions that he insisted upon. Jeff made many assurances about his strategies, even as we and others (including a lawyer in our family) increasingly raised concerns a...bout the decisions he was insisting on as we neared trial. Jeff’s insistence cost us dearly. Even the judge explicitly criticized actions that Jeff insisted on during trial preparation. He failed to engage in any cross-examination of the plantiff's central witness, nor did he engage in any redirect. I would never again trust his judgment. We felt that Jeff was largely invisible as our advocate and defender during the trial, despite a great deal of factual evidence to support our position. We felt really let us down by Jeff, tragically so. I would never recommend him for anyone looking for a strong advocate in a case where the stakes in any way mattered.
