Together with co-counsel Leon Marks, I obtained preliminary injunctive relief returning health care coverage to Mr. York. He had been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and because of failure to pr ... operly provide him a COBRA notice, his health insurance coverage was terminated while he was hospitalized and unable to return to work. Before the case was filed, Mr. York had been denied a bone marrow transplant which his doctor later testified was critical for him.
OUTCOME: Court entered a remedial order, upheld in part and denied in part by the 7th Cir.
