I recently helped a vascular surgeon protect his family and his assets. My client has a private practice with locations throughout MN. He is married with two small children. We reorganized his practice ... by setting up several LLCs to hold his commercial buildings. We also prepared trusts for he and his wife. The trusts help to minimize estate taxes while avoiding the time, expense and delay of probate in the event anything ever happened to either of them. Most importantly, we insured that should the unthinkable happen, his two children would never spend a minute in foster care and would be raised by whom they want, how they want, they know who is managing their children's money, when they will get it and that it is protected from creditors, predators and failed marriages.
