Borrower sued the lender asserting that the foreclosure was invalid because the lender didn't own the loan. My client was the second mortgage holder who redeemed from the 1st mortgage foreclosure. ... We won summary judgment finding that the assignment of mortgage was valid and that the foreclosure was valid. The borrower appealed to the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals and we won there as well.
