Mark Joseph Kuhar

My practice is focused on serving the employment-related needs of private and public employers throughout the region. I help employers through the most difficult employee-related challenges. I routinely assists employers in establishing and maintaining employment policies, frequently trains supervisors and other employees, and prepares executive employment contracts and severance agreements. I also negotiate with unions on behalf of employers. My practice has an emphasis on the defense of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) claims and the litigation of employment claims. I routinely practice before the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Pennsylvania Courts of Common Pleas, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and in matters before the Naitonal Labor Relations Board, as well as in the processing and resolution of grievances and arbitration proceedings. Additionally, I recently began private mediation practice focusing primarily on labor and employment related disputes.
