Philip B. Friedman

Philip B. Friedman has been practicing law since 1978. He is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and New York. He is also admitted to practice in the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania as well as numerous other federal appellate and district courts. He is a past president of the Erie County Bar Association. He is also a former chairman of the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. Phil is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. He has been listed as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer from 2004-2015, an honor earned by the top 5% of attorneys in Pennsylvania as voted by their peers.

In his free time, Phil trains for triathlons and aquathlons. Phil won gold medals in the Aquathlon Age Group World Championships in Edmonton in 2014 and in Chicago in 2015. He also won silver medals in the Sprint Triathlon World Championships in Edmonton and in Chicago. In 2013 he won the national championship in age group sprint triathlon and a bronze medal in the Sprint Age Group World Championship in London. In 2013 he was also ranked number one in the United States in triathlon for his age group. In 2016 he won the gold medal in the Sprint Age Group World Championship in Cozumel, Mexico. Phil is a member and former president of the Erie Triathlon Club.
