Joy Taylor

I focus my practice in the areas of business, healthcare, and intellectual property & technology law. I am a registered patent attorney. While in private practice, I regularly assisted clients with general corporate work; patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret matters as well as intellectual property issues that impact business negotiations; transaction due diligence; services agreements and co-development agreements, and mergers and acquisitions. I worked closely with Knox Law's litigation team to bring and defend claims of intellectual property infringement. Prior to joining Knox Law, I completed two externships with the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center’s Physician Services Division, clerked for the Honorable Judge Mary Jane Bowes in the Superior Court of Pennsylvania, and interned with a law firm in Pittsburgh where I analyzed legal issues affecting health care systems and physician practices.
