Bernard Timothy Hessley

Unfortunately I had a bad experience with this attorney and staff. I contacted his office on a Tuesday to seek legal counsel for my son who had serious charges against him. I spoke to attorney Hessley and he said he would get back to me in a few days about the case and representation. The preliminary... hearing was to be the following Tuesday. I called on Thursday to see if he was taking the case and could be prepared for the hearing date only to be told Mr Hessley was on vacation and would be returning the following Monday. The secretary was the most rude unprofessional person I have ever spoken to. She yelled into the phone everyone needs a vacation when I asked why she didn't call and let me know he would not be taking the case so I could seek another attorney. Then she hung up the phone on me. I could not believe she did this. She is definitely not an asset for the law firm to treat clients like that. I would not recommend this attorney due to his staff who you must interact with.

Mr. Hessley didn't do anything he said he was going to. I asked him several times to look into specific aspects of my case and he never did. He didn't prepare me for court at all and just used nice language to make it seem like he was going to help me. He was never in his office and he would call me ...back a week or even later when it was too late. He looks good and sounds good but for how much he costs you're better off with a public defender.
