Personal injury action involving claims by young mother who suffered a devastating leg fracture as a paying customer on a landmark attraction at a New Jersey amusement park. Our investigation dete ... rmined that there had been several prior incidents, none at this level of severity. We retained an engineer who was able to explain the prior incidents, the significant safety violations by the operator and to link the mechanism of the client's injuries to the prior incidents. We advanced significant costs on pretigious experts, including engineers, orthopedic surgeons, life care planning nurses and an economist to obtain an excellent result for our client at mediation. Every case is different. This was an extraordinary case with an extraordinary client with a devastating injury, including multiple surgeries. However, our firm's willingness to prepare the case for trial to achieve an excellent result is standard.
