Brian Chacker obtained a $2.4 million jury verdict in Camden County Superior Court on behalf of his client, Mark Heiser, who was diagnosed with stage IV kidney cancer that required the removal of a kid ... ney, a portion of his pancreas, his adrenal glands, and his spleen. Chacker successfully proved to the jury that Heiser’s physician failed to follow up on an “incidental finding on a lumbar MRI” during an appointment – leading to a four-year delayed diagnosis as Heiser’s cancer spread through his body. The jury awarded Heiser $500,000 for past pain and suffering, $1.5 million for future pain and suffering, $375.000 for lost income, and more than $31,000 for his medical expenses.
