Client charged with 1st degree homicide based on a theory of strict liability for selling a controlled dangerous substance to a person resulting in their death. The case was the subject of a jury tria ... l which lasted approximately three weeks. Mr. Funk presented evidence that the alleged victim had ingested drugs from numerous sources both before and after buying drugs from his client. Hospital records confirmed the evidence and the State's expert witness was forced to admit that all of the drugs ingested by the alleged victim had the capacity to cause death.
