poor experience

During my first conversation with this gentleman he seemed very personable, sincere, and anxious to represent me. But after I paid him his retainer, things changed drastically! Over the next 6 weeks I made repeated requests vie E-mail and phone messages asking to meet with him to discuss my case, yet... he did not reply to any of these messages, and when I did reach him by phone he told me that my case is of little importance and “don’t worry, it’s a piece of cake. I’m friends with the judge and we already spoke about this”. When I still insisted on meeting with him he became condescending and belligerent. I found his tone to be rude and unprofessional. Furthermore, after speaking to the police officer, Westcott assumed that everything that the officer said about me was true, and then during our phone conversation Westcott even accused me of doing things that the officer had not even accused me of! I want an attorney who will fight FOR me, not AGAINST me, and so I informed Mr. Westcott that his services were no longer required. I requested a refund since he had done virtually no work for me, but he refused to provide any refund at all. I have since learned of Mr. Westcott’s extensive criminal history on noethics.net -which I suggest potential clients do as well.
