Prevailed on all issues in the proceeding before the Court of Appeal, which resulted in a published opinion (17 Cal. App. 5th 655 (2017)) on a novel legal issue holding that the statutory bar against amending a pleading during the pendency of an anti-SLAPP motion does not foreclose a plaintiff’s absolute right to amend the complaint to add a new defendant.
