I engaged Attorney Lee Grace for my divorce proceedings, expecting professional guidance and timely communication. Unfortunately, my experience did not align with these expectations. Prior to being required to leave my marital home, I informed Ms. Grace of my relocation to South Carolina, my financi...al vulnerability, and the urgency of accessing marital funds. Despite these communications, I did not receive the disbursement until May 14—months after signing the deed and weeks after my relocation. This delay resulted in severe hardship, including a period where I had to sleep in my car. Additionally, I noticed an $800 deduction from the disbursement, which I do not agree with, as I believe she overcharged me for the poor relationship communications. When I raised these concerns, Ms. Grace responded by withdrawing from my case rather than addressing the issues at hand. In my opinion, the handling of my case lacked the professionalism and responsiveness I expected. I hope this feedback assists others in making informed decisions when seeking legal representation.
