OUTCOME: Created new program for deferrral and dismissal

Numerous kids were charged with MIPIs in Cass County. Normally not a problem, but Cass County does not have any deferral option (despite the statute) to keep this off the kids records. They also face ... d one year license sanction if convicted. Through these efforts we were able to CREATE a diversion program for MIPIs that had never before existed in Cass County, MI. It took a lot of effort, but saved these kids from a criminal record and a suspended license.
