I was arrested for a third DUI at the highest tier within ten years. I consulted with Mr. Kauffman and eventually retained him. I was facing a state prison sentence with a minimum of one year. Mr. Kauffman reviewed my case and established my defense. He was up to date with the current DUI laws an...d was able to get my DUI lowered to the general impairment level. The District Attorney wanted to charge me with a high tier DUI, which I agreed to, but Mr. Kauffman did not see that as fair and fought for me and my rights. I was also charged with six summary offenses that were all dropped in the plea agreement, and was sentenced to 20 days house arrest with NO jail time. Mr. Kauffman was very professional and personable! Anytime I had questions, he was there to answer them for me. He was always available to me and would promptly return my calls. In my eyes he went above and beyond what any lawyer would do for his clients. I would give him the highest recommendation for anyone facing criminal charges. I couldn't be happier with the outcome of my case and know that he would give the utmost attention to all his clients.
