Child Custody/ out of state abduction/Divorce

A woman fled to Maryland with her child to escape horrific abuse (including an attempt to set her home on fire while she and her child were inside). I obtained a Final Protective Order in Maryland whic ... h granted her custody. During the course of the case her husband took the child and fled to another state. I successfully obtained emergency relief in Maryland which I used to motivate law enforcement authorities in the other state to recover the child. My client divorced her husband, retained sole legal and physical custody, husband was denied visitation and my client recieved child support and additional financial relief.
