Although liability was clear, the defendant's insurance company refused to settle the case at a fair and reasonable amount because there was v ... ery little damage to her car. In fact, you could not tell our client's car had been struck because there was barely a scratch on her bumper. However, we will not simply take the amount at what an insurer values your case.
