ERISA Disability Mental Health Limitaiton - Physical Disability

Client was injured in an automobile accident approximatley 4 years ago. Went out of work based on the sequalae of the auto accident; however, the Long Term Disability Insurer, that accepted the claim, ... accepted the claim only for psyciatric reasoning. Upon the end of the two year mental health exclusion in the policy and the end of the own occupation period of disability the carrier denied the claim. Client appealed the denials on his own and upon exhaustion of his appeals hired me to pursue an action under ERISA in the Federal District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
