Marc Thomas Valentine

I've worked with several families in Somerset County who have been impacted by coal mining development near their properties, and Marc has been egregiously ill prepared and neglectful in all of their cases. The families have paid him thousands upon thousands of dollars, yet he has done little to noth...ing to move their cases along. He rarely returns phone calls, emails, or other form of contact. During depositions, he failed to properly represent his clients - he simply stood back while they were interrogated by the defense attorneys, even when Marc could have easily objected to the claims being made. In one case that lasted for over 5 years, Marc dropped the case within weeks of when the family was scheduled for trail. He cited health issues for the reason he was not able to continue, yet he continues to serve as an attorney for other clients. I highly caution against using him as an attorney.
