District Court for Worcester County (Ocean City) appeal to the Circuit Court for Worcester County. After a bench trial in OC District Court my client was found guilty of DUI and related offenses. The ... Judge sentenced him to 30 days of active incarceration. We felt that the Prosecution did not have a strong case and that the proof was lacking as well. My client posted an appeal bond to avoid the jail sentence and we scheduled the matter for a trial by jury.

OUTCOME: The judgments of the Circuit Court REVERSED; Defendant released; Dismissal ordered

Trial by Jury in the Circuit Court for Dorchester County, Mr. Rash was convicted of three counts of theft of property over $500 in value and received a 15 year prison sentence. I appealed the case to ... the Maryland Court of Special Appeals because I knew that my pre-trial motions should have been granted and the case dismissed based on the violation to be tried within 180 days. The trial judge denied the motion and the case went to the jury and they convicted the defendant. I filed the appeal.
