Naturalization after USCIS Challenge to Continuous Residence:
N/AOUTCOME: Approved
Glinsmann Immigration is pleased to announce the Naturalization of two Clients that came to our firm after the USCIS challenged their continuous residence. Continuous residence during the “Statutory P ... eriod” is one of the requirements for Naturalization. One or more trips of longer than 180 days during the preceding 5 years (or 3 years in the case of a US Citizen Spouse) creates a presumption that continuous residence has been broken. Our team successfully argued that these clients did not break their continuous residence and both are now U.S. Citizens and happy clients.
