Defense of child abuse and custody
Sep 21, 2012OUTCOME: All the below goals occurred. As an added bonus, the mother fired her lawyer, and the parents agreed to work on their joint parenting skills – an amazing bonus for this child, my client and – for both parents.
In a post divorce suit, my client was sued for sexually abusing his four-year-old daughter. There was virtually no evidence that he had done so. His ex-wife wanted the dad to only have supervised par ... enting time. Because we run our clients accused of these horrific actions through a variety of tests, we are confident in facing allegations with very little evidence against them. We counter sued for custody; however after making sure the child was okay, our main goals were to 1) make sure our client was exonerated; 2) make sure there was no supervision; 3) to have the ex-wife write a retraction letter; and to 4) increase the father's parenting time and give him more decision-making power.
