Peter K. Darragh

All lawyers are out to solve your problem'(s). They resolve situations at times not in the manner you want but in the "big picture" way. I have used Mr. Darragh a few times in the last 3 years. I found him to be capable in his work toward my situations. I have not always liked the way outcomes were... handled but my situations were taken care of with all parties being satisfied. As a client please make sure you understand all the issues and options. Ask specifically what you want done and find out what exactly is likely to happen. I doubt anybody is ever completely happy with the work lawyers do because of cost but it is your responsibility to make sure the work goes in the direction YOU want. I made the mistake of not following my own advise (hindsight) and was a bit frustrated. I feel Mr. Darragh is a good lawyer but needs to be kept on the target.

I hired Pete to advise me when my mother died. He helped himself to my money by putting it in an escrow account (his checking account) then handing me a check from his account and a paper to sign. When I said I wanted to read it first he went out telling his secretary that I was weird. He had ta...ken out money for fees that were not agreed upon such as a house call, (Uninvited. When I didn't answer he went over my neighbors telling them my business) then he charged me for investigating my whereabouts. He also processed my mothers life insurance without the knowledge of the executors or their attorneys. This led my brother to take out of the estate my father's IRA money left to mom. As a result I lost over $100,000. I fired him but never sued.
