Philip Patrick Keating

PHILIP P. KEATING is a senior associate with Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLP. He is a member of the Health Care and Litigation Practice Groups. He is primarily based in the firm’s Pittsburgh office.

Mr. Keating has extensive experience handling premise liability cases, and he has successfully represented a variety of manufacturers, business owners, real estate companies, hotel chains and management companies. He has handled an array of cases involving issues relating to property and contract law, and has successfully litigated numerous cases that involve the transportation industry, including a variety of tractor-trailer crashes, through all phases of litigation.

Mr. Keating also has extensive experience in all aspects of defending toxic tort cases in various jurisdictions throughout the country. He currently represents several manufacturers, contractors and suppliers in asbestos litigation in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

For six years prior to joining the firm, Mr. Keating served as an Assistant State Attorney with the Office of the State Attorney in Florida’s 17th Judicial Circuit in Broward County. During that time, he represented the State of Florida in the prosecution of a wide variety of criminal cases, ranging from organized crime prosecutions to firearm, violent crime and drug trafficking prosecutions. Mr. Keating also served as the representative of the Broward County State Attorney’s Office on the Multi-Agency Gang Task Force. As the lead trial counsel in more than 80 jury trials, Mr. Keating brings to the firm extensive courtroom experience.

While attending Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad Law Center, Mr. Keating served as Honor Court Chief Prosecutor and was the recipient of a NAPIL Fellowship.
