I had an in person consult with this attorney last month that did not go well, she was quite rude and insensitive to me. The results of her consultation (I later learned from another legal representative) were misquided and inaccurate. She threw some legalese language at me that was not applic...able in my case. So it was a waste of $500 of my time and money.

Elizabeth is the first attorney out of 4 for me for a long custody situation. She never had me worried, always got back to me in a timely manner. She handled all of my situations with ease & professionally. She reassured me time, and she advocated for me and my children during a rough time. She also ...is very personable with her clients and that’s very important when you are dealing with high conflict situations to be able to work well with your attorney. Def would recommend her.

Father wins custody!!! My husband and I went through a very long and difficult 7 month custody battle trying to obtain primary custody of my step-son. We hired Elizabeth Beroes to represent us for a grandchild custody case. She was very nice to talk to and was very positive of winning our case. She gave us an estimate on a retainer for $2500. She said that this was a padded retainer to ensure that it would get us to mediation, so we decided... to hire her. Once we hired her, she told us multiple times that we would see our grand daughter by this date and that date, etc. It never came to pass. She explained the complete process to us which we found out moving forward that it was quite inaccurate. We haven't made it to the mediation yet and our retainer has been used up. The last hearing that we had with the court for status quo was not accepted since it was filed by our attorney incorrectly. We had to find this information out from another attorney since Elizabeth's office didn't know when I questioned them on this. We now owe her an additional $1200 to go to mediation which we just found out is no a mediation but a conciliatory hearing. Also, she also produced false documentation to the court which we now need need to pay our new attorney amend. So now we are at $3500 with her and this issue has not been settled. We were never kept in the loop on what was going on. We had to continue calling her to get an update on the case. When we would call, we would get charged for the call and would also get false infomation. We tried to talk all this through with her, but she was very defensive when we would question anything, so there was no reason to continue to try and straighten things out with her. This has been a very bad experience for me and my wife. We were told by Elizabeth that the cost to go to mediation would be $2500, now between her overcharging us and getting another attorney, we are at $7000 +.
