He earned his Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law in 2009, where he received the Clinical Legal Education Outstanding Student Award. From 2014-2017, he has been honored to be selected by his peers as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Star—a distinction given to the top 2.5% of attorneys practicing fewer than ten years in Pennsylvania.
Mr. Romano is also active in the community. He has served as an elected council member of the Allegheny County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division and as a member of Mayor Bill Peduto’s Transition Committee. He currently serves on the boards of PULSE Pittsburgh and the Greater Pittsburgh Chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union. He is a graduate of Leadership Pittsburgh’s LDI Class XXIII. In addition to his practice, he serves as an adjunct professor at Duquesne University School of Law and has presented at continuing education seminars for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute.
