About Lyle
Biography
Lyle Dresbold is a Pittsburgh native and a senior criminal defense trial attorney with Shrager Defense Attorneys. Over the course of his career, he has represented clients in more than twenty counties throughout Western Pennsylvania as well as in federal court. He is widely regarded for his skill in the courtroom and for his thoughtful, strategic approach to pretrial litigation.
Lyle earned his Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law in 2008, where he was admitted to the Order of the Barristers in recognition of his excellence in oral advocacy and brief writing. After law school, he returned to Duquesne as an adjunct professor to teach trial advocacy and later served as an instructor in criminal law and evidence at Robert Morris University.
In addition to his work in the courtroom, Lyle contributes to the profession through service on the Allegheny County Criminal Litigation Committee Council and as a member of the board for the Allegheny County chapter of the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
