Lee van Egmond

LEE VAN EGMOND is a member of the firm’s Business/Corporate Practice Group.

Ms. van Egmond has a broad range of experience in advising clients on corporate and finance matters, contract and real estate negotiations, licensing and strategic transactions. She also has experience in the manufacturing, technology, entertainment, banking and investment, retail, hotel, restaurant and life science industries – both in day-to-day counseling and transactional matters.

Ms. van Egmond’s areas of specialization include mergers, acquisitions and divestitures for both public and privately-held corporations. She has represented financial institutions in acquisition financing, syndicated lending, secured and unsecured lines of credit, asset-based loans, working capital facilities, senior and subordinated debt financings and as counsel to administrative and collateral agents, lenders, participants and trustees. She maintains an active borrower financing practice with clients in the retail, construction, engineering and manufacturing industries.

Ms. van Egmond received her B.S. in Business Administration and her M.A. in English Literature from West Virginia University. She earned her J.D. from West Virginia University College of Law, where she was a member of the Order of the Coif and the West Virginia Law Review.
