Joseph J. Bosick

JOSEPH J. BOSICK is a member of the firm's Litigation, Product Liability and Professional Liability Practice Groups.

Mr. Bosick’s litigation experience is extensive and includes construction, general commercial, product liability and professional liability. His trial practice extends not only to federal and state courts, but also to commercial and construction arbitration.

Mr. Bosick represents regional, national and international companies in construction, general commercial and product liability litigation. His professional liability practice involves the representation of various professional clients, including architects, engineers, accountants, directors and officers, lawyers, and insurance agents. Mr. Bosick also provides comprehensive risk management counseling to his clients. As part of his ongoing commitment to clients, Mr. Bosick writes and lectures on various topics.

Mr. Bosick has been rated an AV Preeminent® attorney by LexisNexis® Martindale-Hubbell®, the highest such rating available to any individual lawyer in both legal ability and ethical standards. Mr. Bosick has also been named a 2016 Pennsylvania Super Lawyer and a Corporate Counsel Super Lawyer in the area of Civil Litigation. He has received professional recognition in Who’s Who in American Law, International Who's Who ofProfessionals and The Global Directory of Who’s Who. In addition, Mr. Bosick is a trained mediator. By appointment, he serves as a mediator and arbitrator in both the state and federal court systems.

Mr. Bosick serves on the Construction Law Section Council of the Allegheny County Bar Association. He is the former president and current member of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law Alumni Association. Mr. Bosick is on the Alumni Leadership Council of the University of Pittsburgh. He also serves as National Counsel for Aero-Flex Technologies, Inc. and International Counsel for Rocky Brook Sinkers, LLC.

The professional memberships in which Mr. Bosick is active include the American, Federal, Inter-American, Pennsylvania and Allegheny County Bar Associations, Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County, Association of Defense Trial Attorneys, Defense Research Institute, Pennsylvania Defense Institute, the Product Liability Advisory Council, and the Professional Liability Defense Federation.
