Strong Legal Representation You Can Trust

Working with Eve Elsen was a great experience during a really difficult time. She was sharp, dependable, and always had my best interests in mind. She handled everything with care and confidence, and I felt supported every step of the way. I couldn’t have asked for better representation and would gla...dly recommend her to anyone going through a workers’ comp case.

Fearless Attorney Who Isn't Just Chasing The Easy Money

Eve took on my very difficult trip and fall case. When I started my attorney search, I didn't know anyone, and I just googled and messaged various lawyers. I was really blessed and lucky to find Eve. She responded and immediately was very interested in my case. It was a long process, as the insurance... company wasn't willing to make any fair offers. She knew how to build the perfect case with the right experts and evidence. Her skills at mediation, and tactfully blowing holes in the insurance company's case is what really forced them into taking it seriously. Not only was she completely ready for trial, she was advising me to go to trial because she felt the case was worth considerably more than what the insurance was willing to offer. I decided I wanted to avoid trial if possible, and she completely understood. Eve has a rare combination of qualities for an attorney. She is aggressive and fearless, but also very understanding and empathetic. In any situation in which friends or family need a personal injury attorney she will be my first recommendation.

One of the best decisions I’ve ever made!

I needed surgery after a knee injury at work and was placed on workers compensation. I had the surgery, rehabilitated with physical therapy, and returned to work once i was cleared by the doctor. I worked in a very physically demanding environment and upon returning to work I remained in significant ...pain along with chronic swelling in my knee. I went to receive a 2nd opinion on my knee from a different doctor and he deemed that my knee was not in a condition for me to continue the work I was doing. I started treatment with this doctor and shortly after this the workers compensation insurance made me see their doctor who is known to work along side of many insurance companies and sure enough he claimed there was nothing wrong with my knee. After receiving the report from THEIR doctor the workers compensation Insurance attempted to buy me out of all of my benefits and treatment for my knee. I felt as if I was being backed into a corner and I didn’t really know what to do. I took the weekend to consider what was being offered to me and when I added up the costs of all of my potential future medical costs and lost wages it was really an insulting offer. That’s when I reached out to Eve and she told me I wasn’t crazy for feeling as if the insurance company was just offering me an extremely low amount and that my fair compensatory number was much higher. She informed me that the decision was ultimately mine and helped me weigh my options. I ultimately decided that it was in my best interest to decline the insurance company’s first offer and continue with treatment on my knee. Continuing with treatment was the best thing I could have done because the cost of injections and therapy would have been enormous. After continuing with treatment I received a notice in the mail that the workers compensation insurance was attempting to put a stop to my benefits. I was terrified, but Eve calmed me and explained to me there was nothing to worry about. She handled everything every step of the way, answered all of my calls and texts in a timely manner, and I couldn’t have been more grateful. She was really my rock throughout this whole process and she battled for me at every hearing we had and helped me navigate every challenge the insurance company threw my way. Ultimately she presented how strong my medical evidence was to the judge assigned to my case and the judge agreed. The insurance company didn’t really have much of a choice but to continue paying for my medical and benefits. They finally returned to the negotiating table and Eve got us to a number that we both agreed would be a fair settlement amount. I implore that anyone looking to hire a workers compensation attorney to look no further than Eve Elsen. I’m not really one for writing reviews but Eve deserves it. She’s the best and if I ever need someone to represent me in the future I won’t even consider hiring anyone but Eve!
