About Brian
Biography
Brian E. McKinley graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2000 and has been an attorney with Wilder Mahood McKinley & Oglesby since 2001, becoming partner in June, 2012. While attending law school, Mr. McKinley received the Family Law Award presented to the student achieving the highest grade in the Family Law course.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. McKinley attended Kent State University where he majored in Finance and graduated cum laude with a Bachelors of Business Administration Degree. Mr. McKinley is a member of the Family Law Section of the American Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association, Allegheny County Bar Association, and a former member of the Pittsburgh Matrimonial American Inn of Court. He is a recent graduate of the Family Law Trial Advocacy Institute at the University of Houston School of Law.
Mr. McKinley serves on the Council and the Rules Committee of the Family Law Section of the Allegheny County Bar Association. He is also a member of the Public Service Committee and Appellate Practice Committee of the Allegheny County Bar Association. Mr. McKinley has also served as a writer and lecturer for family law continuing legal education seminars and classes, including the Pennsylvania Bar Association Family Law Section Summer Meeting and the Clarion University Legal Conference. Mr. McKinley Is a co-author of the Pennsylvania Family Law Practice and Procedure 2012 Supplement.
