Highly Recommend
Bethany's invaluable service allowed for me to have the smoothest experience possible. Her professionalism and understanding of what I wanted as a end result was critical during a difficult time.

Explained everything and hard working
The Notaro law firm represented me for my divorce case last year. When you have a divorce, there are a lot of things filed, and phone calls, and meetings with your attorney. I found Attorney Notaro and the other attorneys in the office to be quick with returning my calls and I appreciated that they walked me through everything. I would recommend.

A divorce is never easy. However the process can be made easier when you have an attorney who helps you through every step of the process with expert guidance. Bethany was very knowledgeable and professional throughout the process and helped us to settle our divorce in a fair and expedient manner.

Exellent Attorney
Bethany Notaro is an excellent attorney with a very knowledgeable and professional staff. I hired Bethany upon the recommendation of another attorney, whom spoke very highly of her knowledge of family law. Bethany has an excellent handle on family law and was able to process my divorce case with a high level of confidence and skill. When I first started my case I was nervous, worried about the unknown. Bethany recognizes that each client has a different path to coming to terms with the realities of a divorce, allowed me to vent concerns, and bring my own thoughts to the case. She approached the opposing attorney with courtesy but firm resolve when needed. I would highly recommend Bethany Notaro, she not only has a thorough and professional approach, but more importantly, a deep consideration for what is most important to her clients.

Divorce case
Notaro law firm were my second attorneys. I worked with Bethany Notaro and Susan Gordon mostly. They obviously know what they're doing. My case went to the step before trial. I am pleased with how it went.

Quitter when the going gets tough!!
Beware!! When you run out of money...they run out and will not deal with you - even if you're close to the end or ready for trial. Her firm is like all the others - they are not there to help you, but suck all financial life out of you and when you run out of financial resources, they leave you high and dry. Run, don't walk away from Notaro & Associates. Believe me, I 'was' a client.

We make every attempt to work with our clients to provide affordable family law services. We offer payment plans and flat rate services. We also always strive to reach settlements before cases become mired in costly litigation. Unfortunately in some situations where litigation is unavoidable, we cannot always continue dedicating our time and resources to cases in which the client has failed to provide payment for agreed upon hourly rates and expenses. Again, we always try to work with the client to arrange for payment plans or tailor our services to best meet their needs and budget.

Billed me exactly what i got in alimony
This was years ago, but i can't imagine much had changed. They billed me, and I paid them, what i got in support each month... lived in a garage for almost 2 years. When it was finally time for my hearing, and she'd lost my support, she billed me $8k which she knew i didn't have and left me without representation for my divorce. My ex kept everything from a 26 yr marriage, has thrown most of my stuff away because he didn't know it's worth ...10's of thousands of dollars. After that she had her office manager call and threaten to sue me. I said please do... because this was a technique she'd used to get my ex to pay filling charges. When i explained what happened to the office manager... who was pretending to be from a collection company, she quietly said "oh...". I never heard from them again... no refund either. Please ship around. Apparently this is not uncommon for divorce attorneys to do. I've heard they even brag about it. They certainly saw me coming. I hope they sleep well knowing how they beat down a 50 year old home make trying to escape from an abusive relationship.

Hi, Kristi - do you want to talk to me? I take all of my reviews very seriously. You can call us at 412-281-1988. I also responded to your Google review of me a little while ago, but I didn't hear from you. You stated you have a balance owed with our office - is this the issue? Can we work together to find a solution? I don't think we've been involved with your case for quite sometime, but I do keep meticulous records and I am sure I can listen and try to find a middle ground. I can also assure you that no one from my office would ever call you impersonating anyone else. If a client gets a call about a bill, it is because payment (any payment - full, a small partial payment here or there, anything) hasn't been made at all in months, despite calls and emails and conversations with the attorney about payment, and with the knowledge that the attorney is still diligently working on the case and hasn't been paid in months. Our office always calls a client and attempts to work out anything we can so we can keep working on a case, and also avoid sending a bill to collections. With regard to your case specifically, as a divorce lawyer, it's very hard for me to handle disputes like this online, as I will never breach my duty of confidentiality as an attorney, no matter what someone says on Google or Avvo or anywhere else. Sometimes that means never telling the story from our point of view. I think for every client who is dissatisfied with their family law case, we have 100 that we have gotten through a very difficult time as well as we possibly could, with good results. I am here to help if you want to speak to me directly.

When money gets tight, services stop.
Used the services about 4 years ago. Not even the anticipation of getting money from the divorce settlement was good enough for her. Was very nice while paid, but if late with payment, she would file to remove herself from your case. Kept up as best I could - never owed more than 1000-1500. Was very close to the end and it was either keep the house from forecloseure or pay her. I paid the mortgage. She dropped me after taking over 20,000 and leaving me without representation before my final hearing. She took the money and left a client to swing in the wind. It was not an ethical choice in my mind. Make sure you fully understand the terms before signing.
