Jeff Pollock reviewed the considerable case file that I compiled with my wife's help and spent several hours explaining to me the pros and cons of my proposed law suit. When I consider the time he spent reading this before our meeting his $300 fee was very reasonable. During the meeting I asked man...y questions that I had formulated over the 18 months since the original incidents precipitating the suit. His answers were informative and never patronizing. Let's compare his performance to my own: I consider myself a very capable mechanic with lots of technical learning. Should a customer question me about computerized fuel injection and a big modification he was attempting on such a system even though he had no more experience with such things than to have watched a pro at work, I would have great difficulty not insulting him one way or the other. The insult would come out through verbal, nonverbal or both kinds of communication. I wouldn't have the skill to put up with such audacity. Well that audacity is what I have and tempered with little knowledge. So Jeffery Pollock was able to teach me something and also able to leave me with some confidence in my original intentions, which is to get some kind of justice out of my circumstances.
