I hired Jeff to handle my divorce with equitable distribution issues. There were several red flags with him early on and I felt like I had to really watch what he was doing. I ended up getting a second, third and forth opinion and they all agreed that my case was being mishandled. I had to retain ...new counsel and lost my $3200 retainer. My overall impression of Jeff is that while he is well versed and knowledgeable in the law, he is not as gifted nor does he have any interest in doing the work needed to actually audit assets/liabilities and to crunch numbers to come up with a fair equitable distribution which was at the heart of my case. Instead, he would rather negotiate at all cost in general terms. I have found in dealing with my new attorney that there was so much that Jeff was overlooking and I would have lost so much more than my retainer had I stuck it out with him.
