Client accused of shooting into house. After extensive investigation and subpoenas for records was able to convince the DA to dismiss the case.
OUTCOME: Hung Jury - 9 to 3 for not guilty

Alleged conduct: DUI. Client driving car while under the influence of alcohol. Client driving car with a BAC of .08 or higher. Client pulled over, poor to fair on field sobriety tests. After filing motions to leverage our position in the negotiation was able to strike a deal that the client was looking for: Wet and Reckless with early probation termination after paying fines and going to Wet and Reckless school.
OUTCOME: Dismissed
Alleged conduct: Client breaks computer keyboard and then attacks spouse leaving marks on spouse. Alleged witness is step-son. Investigation turns up step-son with severe behavior problems with history ... of lying. Investigation also turns up evidence that my client was the victim of domestic violence by the person now claiming my client hurt them now. Client also had complex immigration issues. Was able to negotiate a dismissal without a plea entered.
OUTCOME: Not guilty jury verdict on all counts.

Alleged conduct: Client allegedly got into a street fight with an older person who walking with a cane. Client allegedly took cane away from older person and hit him several times. Provided evidence in ... trial that complaining witness was a drug addicted person with a vendetta against my client.
OUTCOME: Not guilty of life charges; guilty of arson
Alleged conduct: Client planned the murder of his former boss. Execution of the plan included setting the home of former boss on fire knowing that boss was in the home sleeping around 2 a.m. Prosecuted ... by a seasoned career prosecutor. The jury ultimately decided the client was not guilty of the attempted murder. In full disclosure the jury believed that client acted maliciously when he set the fire and found him guilty of arson. No offer during the pre-trial or trial stage. Client was able to avoid life imprisonment and only suffered one felony conviction.
