Questionable Billing Practices

I was a client of Patrick S. Casey's for a period of approximately four months before dismissing him as my lawyer. I fired him and his firm and after paying them more than $40,000 (he charged excessively for "research") and getting now where with my case. Very questionable billing practices indeed.... Time spent as his client was highly stressful. By far, the most difficult part of being in a lawsuit was my dealings with him. In the end, from him, I learned a lot about how lawyers get their reputation.
