The best man for the job!!!!!

In today's world, ethics are something that goes out of the window quickly, especially when it comes to divorce and the custody of a child/children. I contacted Mr. Simon to handle my divorce/custody case only after another attorney had turned it into a circus. From our first consultation, I knew Mr.... Simon and I were on the same page. His demeanor and code of conduct is admirable especially in his field. He was able to comprehend what was going on even though it had been botched so badly by my previous attorney. He was smart, ethical, concise, honest and showed tremendous amounts of integrity throughout the entire process. There wasn't a time through any of the proceedings, that he didn't have my children's best interest in mind (as well as mine). Being that my case was very complex for many different reasons, Mr. Simon never lost sight of the ultimate goal which was to settle and wrap up my divorce and to do what was best for my children. As I sit here and write this review, after reading the comment made prior, I can't help but feel that the other review posted may be false or fake. With my case, I worked with this man on a daily basis for quite a long time, and not once did he seem to falter or force me to settle on anything that I didn't feel was in my best interest. He always had my best interest in mind. On many occasions he did his best with giving me advice, but ultimately in the end it was my choice and my decision to accept or deny what was placed in front of me. If it hadn't been for Mr. Simon and his numerous years of experience, honesty and ethical decision making, my case definitely would have turned out differently, and I may not be able to live the life I live now with my beautiful children in toe. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Simon for a job well done, and in my ultimate opinion, he is the best man for the job!!!!!! (I'm just sorry that I didn't find him sooner)

Expensive Con Artist

In typical attorney fashion, he forced us into a bunch of "consultations" and charged us $600 each time, saying we needed to practice for court. He also made me purchase a bunch of documents from the trial that we never ended up needing. He said the evidence I had against the defendant was extremely ...strong. With out warning- he told me to pay him the thousands of dollars that I owed (even though he said he was fine with payment plans before I retained him) by the end of week or he wouldn't show up for our court date. He said that I actually had no case against the defendant, and the evidence wouldn't stand in court- and that I would have custody taken away. In the end, I paid tens of thousands of dollars to have him use a generic custody order template and con me into 50/50 custody. Has severe anger issues and a strong vendetta against people who are smarter than him. He conned me, but as soon as I realize the damage he had done- I stood up to him. He cowered down and his true, lonely-sociopath self was relieved. Remember, Custody Court is a the grayest of area of law. There are no rules, nor 3rd party audits to stifle corruption. If you are going to court for custody, please beware that all the lawyers/judges/mediators know each other and use people as pawns. They're great at acting like they hate each other, but check their texts/email inboxes. They trade custody deals like baseball cards. The "Children" the court system claims to defend are their cash crop, so they won't solve anything. You'll be forced to fight for decades and end up in a worse position than when you started. They need you to be a return customer! Be prepared to foreclose on your house and have random drug testing done when they want.
