Misleading, unreliable, and inadequate representation and advice. Problematic billing practices and deba...table charges for services. Delayed and extended litigation to increase billable hours.

Dwight Ferguson represented us in a lawsuit and settled our matter. I authorized that outstanding legal fees could be deducted from the settlement proceeds and was advised on September 10, 2024 that his controller would "drop a check in the mail" for the remaining settlement proceeds. Here it is on ...October 8, 2025, more than a year later, and we still have not received our settlement proceeds, I have send multiple emails and left multiple voicemails over the last year, all of which were ignored. Finally, I left a negative online review and he responded, claiming that our funds are being held in the event more work is needed by his firm. It's been a year and I would never want to do business with Dwight Ferguson ever again due to his complete disregard for client communication. Further, he has no authority to unilaterally decide to keep our settlement funds. Thus, I advised him to terminate representation and forward our money. Again, Attorney Ferguson has gone silent, Not recommended. Very disappointing experience.
