Free advise was given to me in regards to a tenant landlord situation where the landlord who was obligated to keep the lease did not. I was advised by Mr. Cogswell, ESQ to take $50 to $100 dollars off my rent, because the landlord closed off the laundry and storage facilities in the room provide by... the lease in the building's basement. Later, the housing inspector made sure I had what property my landlord had taken or denied access to in our basement. It is now comfortably in my place, and I am not paying for water, I did not use in the basement. The fuse boxes are not readily available to the tenants or other(s) and the landlord had broken code enforcement regulations for the boro. Note: The landlord threatened eviction to anyone who took money off the rent, or placed it in an escrow account.
