Employer's theory was that since a total knee replacement had occurred that there was no longer a meniscus such that ... the workers should only receive the statutory minimum of 50% reduced by the 5% already paid for the prior surgery. The Commission held that the minimums per procedure still applied even under this context and awarded the worker 50% PPD in addition to the 5% already paid. This decision as upheld at the Court of Appeals.
