Mother had sole legal custody and primary placement of minor daughter after GAL reviewed the case. Within 2 years after the divorce, Mother wanted to move out of state with minor child to be closer to ... family. Father just lost his job due to another positive drug test. Lindsay assisted Mother in filing a Motion to Relocate, which eventually went all the way to trial after failed negotiations and failed mediation. The GAL recommended Mother be allowed to move with minor child. Lindsay fought for Mother to be repaid the back due child support, medical expenses, variable expenses and more. Lindsay filed 17 exhibits showing Father's prior bad behavior and failure to successfully co-parent that supported Mother's case. The morning of trial, Father finally agreed to everything Mother was requesting, allow Mother to move out of Wisconsin. Lindsay also moved forward with the Motion for Contempt for Father's failure to make payments on medical expenses, child care and variable expenses. The Father is currently on a payment plan.
