Represented Defendant real estate agent and broker - sucessfull summary jugment; Plaintiffs' appeal dismissed. Plaintiffs bought a property to use as a hair salon, but were unable to obtain occupancy ... permit due to zoning. Plaintiffs sued the real estate agent and broker who assisted with the sale and purchase. Defendants successfully argued real estate agent or broker had no duty to investigate zoning or suitibilty of property for salon or conduct buyer's due dilligence, and buyer's claimed damages of lost profits were not recoverable anyway.
