Hadley v. Extreme Technologies Inc.
Jun 24, 2015OUTCOME: Appellate Victory
Mr. Hadley was an inventor of an archery bow, who brought claims against a major archery manufacturer for using his invention without his authorization after the manufacturer asked him to share it with ... him. The manufacturer convinced the trial judge to wrongly instruct the jury on the law, which resulted in Mr. Hadley losing his case. Travis Eiva appealed the case, and the Oregon Court of Appeals reversed, giving Mr. Hadley a new trial.
