Neal and Nancy Kaste sued Land O'Lakes Purina Feed on breach of contract and products liability theories claiming that cattle feed sold to them by Defendant contained too much copper and did not contai ... n phosphorous with the result that 140 cows were slowly poisoned them to death. Plaintiffs started buying feed from Defendant in 2005 and their cows began to die in 2007 after producing less and less milk.

Mark McMillan sued Li Ning Sports, USA on an employment discrimination theory claiming that he was wrongfully terminated because of his race by Chinese Li Ning executives. Plaintiff was hired in 2008 a ... s the director of design engineering. He was offered a promotion in 2010 that required him to move to Beijing at a salary of $351,120 but the promotion was later rescinded. Defendant denied wrongdoing and cross-claimed against Monica Rotzien, its former human relations director, claiming that the did not act in the Company's best interest in her dealing with McMillan claiming that her relationship with him was more than just business and conspired with McMillan because of a personal relationship. McMillan and Rotzien are now married.
