Charles Hockett Kee

I hired Charles Kee to represent me in a criminal grand larceny case, and unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. His communication was inconsistent and often confusing — he gave me conflicting information at critical points in my case. He failed to challenge any of the D.A.’s evide...nce or statements, and made no real effort to advocate for me in court. Mr. Kee regularly arrived late and unprepared, and it was clear that he lacked any real courtroom presence. It felt like no one — not the judge, not the D.A., not even court staff — took him seriously. At times, it seemed like he was more focused on his appearance than the outcome of my case. His argument to keep me out of prison was weak and unpersuasive. The only thing he did reasonably well was assist in negotiating restitution. That said, I would strongly advise anyone in need of competent legal representation to look elsewhere.
