Mr. Pulos enjoys a very successful, diverse professional career. A trial lawyer by training, Mr. Pulos returned to his hometown of Alfred, New York following his graduation from Albany Law School and opened a general law practice by himself.

He is likely the only person born and raised in Alfred, NY to have graduated from law school and returned to open a bricks and mortar law practice in Alfred. He is the oldest native Allegany County lawyer still living in Allegany County that returned from law school to start their own solo law practice.

Mr. Pulos has a long list of accomplishments for which he has been recognized on local, state and national levels. Mr. Pulos's reputation in the legal community in terms of ethics, experience and skill have been evaluated by his peers. Since 2012, Martindale Hubbell, the oldest lawyer rating service in the USA since 1888, has awarded Mr. Pulos the lawyer rating of "AV-Preeminent", the highest ranking awarded to any attorney in the United States.

He served as an attorney for local town and village governments for a combined 68 years of service and taught many years as a university professor; all without pension, insurance or benefits.

Mr. Pulos committed portions of a combined 60 semesters to teaching, coaching, officiating and administrating, mostly at the collegiate level for Alfred University and Alfred State College.

Mr. Pulos has donated over Four Thousand (4000) hours of his time to coaching and managing the ALFRED RUGBY CLUB, an intercollegiate college club he co-founded at his alma mater ALFRED UNIVERSITY in 1985 and for which he coached 19 seasons.

In addition, Mr. Pulos is a published author, served many years as a volunteer fireman and is an internationally recognized humanitarian. In all these capacities, he serves in a volunteer capacity, without payment or remuneration.

Best experience and gratifying result

Mr. Pulos was extremely helpful in getting justice for me and a much needed monetary award for an awful automobile accident. He was attentive and caring and his expertise in helping someone who was injured and still in pain and was apparent. His staff was also very helpful and I never felt like I ...was bothering them when I called.

Highly Recommended and Willing to Listen....

My case was a rare one that other lawyers did not want to take on. William pulos and his assistant Shannon took my case and was willing to listen and review the issues. William was up front with the costs and possible outcome.
